The core principles of Kent Coach are something I'm very passionate about: Emotional Intelligence among leadership. Before this mission started, I was part of a transportation brokerage that had very small beginnings. There were 8 people in a very tiny office. The brokerage eventually grew to over 100 plus reps and doing over $2 million a month in sales. As Director of Carrier Sales, I was able to contribute to and help spear head the growth. Apart from my duties, I also established a voluntary leadership growth class. The passion of wanting to help, teach and give back lead to the foundation of the JetPack23 Foundation which is a nonprofit in veterans services. After the IRS approved the 501 (c)3 status of the organization, the mission was to raise money for vets but not in the traditional sense. I realized I could fuse two passions in my life into one path. Raise money by helping businesses and the people in those businesses. The ability to help people with self-actualization through improving the stimulation they receive at work would be the best way to impact the every day life of those around me. A great byproduct of engaged employees is a business that is flexible and more profitable. This strengthens our communities two-fold: stronger businesses and happier communities.
